Quinn Mercer

BDSM Educator & Consent Workshop Facilitator

Quinn Mercer has spent over a decade working within the BDSM and kink community as an educator, facilitator, and advocate for consent-first intimacy. Quinn began facilitating workshops at local community dungeons in 2014, where a shared frustration with sparse, often dangerous online resources for newcomers sparked the idea that would eventually become DomKink.

Quinn's approach is grounded in three consent frameworks: Safe, Sane, and Consensual (SSC), Risk-Aware Consensual Kink (RACK), and Proactive, Risk-Aware, Informed, Consensual Kink (PRICK). Quinn teaches that none of these frameworks is inherently superior — each serves different practitioners at different stages of their journey, and understanding all three allows for more nuanced, honest negotiation between partners.

Workshop topics Quinn has facilitated include: communication and negotiation before scenes, rope safety and quick-release protocols, aftercare design for Dom and sub, collar ceremonies and their symbolic weight, and navigating power exchange in long-term relationships. Quinn has presented at kink-positive events and private education circles across the US.

DomKink launched in early 2026 as Quinn's attempt to bring that same workshop-level depth to the open web — where most people actually start their kink education, for better or worse. The goal isn't titillation. It's to give real practitioners, curious newcomers, and couples exploring together the substantive, nuanced information they deserve.

What We Believe

Consent is non-negotiable — Always enthusiastic, ongoing, and revocable. No means no, and so does a safe word.
Education prevents harm — Most kink injuries and trauma result from ignorance, not intention. Better information saves people.
Safety is a practice, not a checklist — Risk-awareness isn't a one-time negotiation. It's a skill you build over time with a partner.
Kink is personal — There is no correct way to be dominant, submissive, or kinky. DomKink describes; it does not prescribe.
Aftercare matters — The end of a scene is not the end of care. Emotional and physical aftercare is part of every guide on this site.
